For its first 2026 membership campaign, Matapédia Jonction Pôle is offering a standard rate of $10 per person. It is always possible to make an additional contribution by adding a donation.

Being a member of Matapédia Jonction Pôle means contributing directly to the promotion of art in the heart of the region and supporting the presentation of innovative exhibitions and events in an inspiring heritage site in the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula.

Founded in 2025 by three artists—Maryse Goudreau, Pierre D’Amours, and Pierre Durette—and an art historian—Caroline Andrieux—Matapédia Jonction Pôle is a young non-profit organization that supports visual artists in their creative endeavors and helps them produce and share their work with a wide audience.

 

Led by a dual structure that works together on a regular basis, the organization functions harmoniously between a dedicated team and a board of directors. However, the active members constitute a third entity which, at the annual general meeting, has the sovereign power to co-opt the directors proposed to them. As the ultimate decision-making body, this entity is the real protector and guarantor of democracy within any association receiving public funds.
