FLORENCIA SOSA REY
Residencies
During her residency in autumn 2023, Florencia Sosa Rey will invest space, solitude and local culture to guide her research into interiority, displacement and communion. These explorations will take the form of abstract drawings, performative actions in response to place, workshops with the community, sound recordings and textiles, to unfold a visual and sensory poetry about touch, breath and sound. The aim is to highlight an interdisciplinary approach in which the body serves as a space for blending notions of memory, self-narratives and interdependence.
