Priscilla Guy
Artist Priscilla Guy, choreographer and author, lives in Marsoui (Haute-Gaspésie). There she founded Salon58, Furies-festival de danse contemporaine, and a feminist writing retreat. At La Gare, the artist will host a discussion on collective and pluralistic writing inspired by the book published following Salon58's feminist writing retreat and articles she co-authored in literary journals.
Priscilla Guy is a performer, choreographer, filmmaker, curator, and arts researcher based in Marsoui, Gaspésie. In 2007, she founded Mandoline Hybride This link will open in a new window, a banner under which she presents her stage creations, in situ performances, and choreographic short films on a local and international scale.
Her repertoire includes the play Les Installations Mouvantes This link will open in a new window, which has been performed more than 150 times in Canada and Europe and received the LOJIQ Culture Award at the Quebec National Assembly in 2012, as well as the play Singeries This link will open in a new window, which has been performed in the Netherlands, Scotland, Belgium, and Canada.
